I could have got this at multiple local pharmacies for $12-45 for the same 90 day supply. I could have got a 10 month supply for less than what I was charged by Optum Rx. I have written United Healthcare and Optum Rx, a news agency, 2 newspapers and my employer. Optum Bank scam on my HSA account. they charge your account fee did not post on monthly statement, and the fee charge was error, it was last August, I called them got back on September, it happened again on March, and back my account on April, those transactions did not show up on the statement. 1. OPtum rx sent notice in December re: my mother's RX for Ranitidine = can cause cancer. Stop taking. I called OPtum & they refuse to provide coverage for the replacement drug Famotidine. I called our MD who states they called in a replacement. Optum states they never recived the request for a new Rx and still refuses to cover the Famoditinde. 2. Original review: Oct. 18, 2020. When everything goes well, the maintenance medicines come on time with no hassles. I love that all of my maintenance meds come free through Optum. Optum refuses to pay their share of prescriptions, that they were contracted to pay. I have contacted them many times and get a different song and dance every time I speak to someone. Usual reactions are: we're working on it, there are no corr ordination of benefits. The info has to be entered manually and the list goes on and on.

They ask for medical records to include labs, radiology, etc. I sent the entire medical record for a patient (she had only been seen 2 times and had an MRI) in chronological order and Optum looked at the first page and said our codes were not supported because we didn't send what was asked of us.
